A NEW ME AND BETTER ME

As we enter into a new year, I want a new me and better me. What I mean is, I do not want to be the same person or repeat the same things that I have done for so many years. With that being said, I want a new me and better me! I want for me is to be consistent in my decisions that I make in 2021 and ongoing. I want to change things that do not have a purpose in my life. I want to be consistent with my lifestyle changes when comes to my health. I want to love me more when I look at myself in the mirror. I want to be surrounded with individuals that have the same mindset and will encourage and push me to my fullest potential. I want to able to breathe freely and not worry about things that will cause me stress or unhappiness. There are many life situations that can keep us in bondage; like employment, unemployment, finances, health, living situations, etc. This life events can cause us to make poor decisions for ourselves and our families. Everyone wasn’t born with a silver spoon in their mouths. I know I wasn’t. Nor was everyone born the innate knowledge of how to handle themselves when life slaps you across the head. Sometimes, it takes years before we understand how this thing called “life” works. It’s okay if the red light in your head just came on about how you should become a new you and better you. There’s this saying “It’s better late than never”. Once you understand life, you need to find your purpose and become intentional in it.
Becoming new and better starts with taking care of YOU first! This is the only way that others can truly see and appreciate your value. Coming to the core of your value takes time. It’s like a diamond in the ruff. A diamond has to go through a process in order to shine. Just like the diamond, we also have to go through our own process. It starts with your mindset. We have to get rid of our cloudy thoughts and limiting beliefs. Once our minds are clear, we can focus on the things that are important. We will be able to organize our thought and put things into perspective such as our goals, happiness, health, relationships, financial awareness and so forth. Focus on the things that will make you committed to becoming a better and healthier person. It is going to take a lot of hard work. Stay strong and do not give up on yourself. Set your goals, write out your vision and put your plan of action into place. Your determination and discipline will lead to success for the goals you have set for yourself. In order for you to stay motivated, you must believe in the process. Your daily improvements will add up to you being successful. Here’s a main ingredient that many of us don’t want to do. SACRIFICE! In order to be successful in anything that we want to do, we must sacrifice some things. No Sacrifice, No Great Success.

Don’t beat yourself up about what you didn’t do or accomplish. Instead, just strive to better than you were yesterday. Each day gets better, because when we focus on the actual day we are in. Look forward. The future holds its own. What we do today, will pay off later. We will be able to look back and say I DID IT and I MADE IT. So, let us put a plan in place for 2021 and work on improving our imperfections. Stay focused and do not give in to the negativity from family, friends, nor your own mind. Self-sabotage is an enemy that is designed to make us fail. We are conquerors, we are designed and equipped to win. Who wants to win in whatever journey you are on? Act now, 2021 will be a successful year for us all
